Stuttgart, March 25, 2014 - Daimler presented Dürr with the Daimler Supplier Award 2013, recognizing its excellent performance in the mechanical and plant engineering sector. In front of around 450 guests from the supply industry, the awards were presented to suppliers for the sixth time in a total of twelve categories at the Mercedes-Benz Center in Stuttgart.

“We are very proud of this award, which underlines the close and successful relationship between Daimler and our company”, said Ralf W. Dieter, CEO of Dürr AG, who accepted the award. “Our solutions help to increase Daimler’s production efficiency and strengthen its international competitiveness.”

During the presentation of the award in the “International Procurement Services” category, which relates to the procurement of services and capital goods, the great long-term partnership between Daimler and Dürr was emphasized.
